Mountain Trip's December,2006 Carstensz Pyramid Expedition is in the air, heading for Dempasar on the island of Bali, Indonesia.

The team is a diverse group from the UK, Canada and the US. Bill Allen is the lead guide, heading back for his third trip to the mountain.

The plan is to meet up in Bali and then fly to the island of Papua. The team will then fly to the mountainin a large Russian Kamov helicopter.
